Most of the recent revelations on the subject of the superhuman
planetary government rule has been delivered to
humanity through organizations such as The Urantia Foundation, Theosophical
Society, Church Universal and Triumphant and On the basis of these teachings informed readers have developed
the understanding that the ascended human souls from the planetary realms,
also known as the Ascended Masters, have the rule in the planetary affairs of
men. Ascended mortals do serve in the planetary reserve corps of
destiny, and as such they have their organized progressive ascending
governing structure (“from below”) supervised by the superplanetary
government (“from above”). Having mastered their ascending evolutionary
scheme, they continue to work as senior advisors to their still incarnated
unascended brothers, under the umbrella of planetary policies established by
the celestial planetary government. In the interim paper I, the Urantias
paper 134, it has been mentioned that the constellation Most Highs or El Elyons have rule in the superhuman kingdoms of men. This
governing is achieved through many celestial forces and agencies but chiefly
through the ministry of seraphic angels. Seraphim and their associated cherubim have much to do with the
details of the superhuman government of a planet, especially of worlds which
have been so backward and isolated by past Lucifer’s rebellion as planet
earth (Urantia). These angels, assisted by the other planetary superhuman beings
called midwayers, function on Urantia executing the
mandates of the resident governor general and his assistants. |

THE SOVEREIGNTY OF URANTIA |

Urantia has as well proper and effective superplanetary
supervision from its local system of Satania,constellation Norlatiadek
and local universe of Nebadon. Vicegerent authority to act as Urantia’s
Planetary Prince for Michael, Sovereign of our local universe of Nebadon, has been recently vested in Machiventa
Melchizedek. The commission ruling from capital of local system Satania, consisting of twenty-four former Urantians is the representing superhuman government
authority on Urantia and all other quarantined planets in the local system of
Satania. One member of this council is now always the resident governor
general on Urantia. |

THE BOARD OF PLANETARY

|
The general management of Urantia has been intrusted
to a special group of twenty-four one-time Urantians,
presently situated on Jerusem. These ascended and
translated souls now citizens of Satania, were all
by nature contributing spiritual leaders when they functioned on Urantia. John “the Baptist” is the chairman of this council at this time,
and the ex officio is the Assigned Sentinel of Satania,
the direct and personal representative of the Associated Inspector of Salvington and of Supreme Executive of Orvonton. The members of this commission also act as advisory supervisors
of the thirty-six other Lucifer rebellion-isolated worlds of our local system
of Satania, and they make frequent trips as
individuals to each of these quarantined worlds. Each of the isolated worlds is advised by similar and varying
sized commissions of its onetime inhabitants, but all of these commissions
are subordinate to the Urantian group of
twenty-four. These group of “four and twenty elders” from Satania
is actively interested in every phase of human progress, welfare and
advancement of mortal races especially Urantia’s
which is under their direct supervision. |

THE RESIDENT GOVERNOR
GENERAL |

|
Every one hundred years of Urantia time, the Jerusem
corps of twenty-four planetary supervisors designate
one of them to sojourn on Urantia to act as their executive representative,
in the position of resident governor general, currently being twentieth in
succession. Resident governor general acts as the co-ordinator
of superhuman administration and is the respected head and universally
recognized leader of the celestial beings functioning on Urantia. All orders of angelic hosts regard him as their co-ordinating director. The governor general hands down scores of rulings and decisions
each day which are accepted as final by all personalities concerned.He
is much more of a fatherly adviser than a technical ruler. In a way resident governor general represents Salvington,
the capital of our local universe, as well as the capital of our local sector
Jerusem. He acts as the representative of
twenty-four counselors who are direct representatives of Michael of Nebadon, our local universe Sovereign, and Gabriel, The
Chief Executive, his first born son- the Bright and Morning Star. Planetary governor also can function as a spokesman for the Local
System Sovereign, however, the constellation
authorities from Edentia, the capital of Norlatiadek, are represented on Urantia by direct
presence of the Edentia’s Most High observer,
Michael’s son of Vorondadek order. THE MOST HIGH OBSERVER In a crisis, the actual and sovereign head of government is the
planetary observer, Vorondadek Son from Edentia. The present Most High observer is the twenty-third
thus to serve on Urantia. A Most High observer is empowered, at his discretion, to seize
the planetary government in times of grave planetary crises, as it happened
thirty-three times in the past history of Urantia. If the current Urantia’s planetary
crisis escalates it is very high probability that the Most High observer will
again exercise his discretion and assume the control of planetary government. At any time, at his discretion, the Most High observer assumes
the function of the Most High regent, exercising unquestioned authority over
all ministers and administrators resident on the planet excepting only the
divisional organization of the archangels, interposing the superior wisdom of
the constellation rulers in the affairs of the kingdoms of men. THE PLANETARY GOVERNMENT The twenty-four counselors function as sort of legislative branch
of the planetary government with governor general as provisional advisory
chief executive and the Most High as the veto power resident observer. At present the conciliatory commissions function as the judicial
powers operative on Urantia. The present absence of the Planetary Prince on the planet is
effectively compensated by the triune presence of the archangels, the Most
High observer and the governor general. The present planetary absence of the corporeal staff of a
Planetary Prince and the Adamic Son and Daughter is
partially compensated by the special ministry of seraphim and midwayers. Twelve seraphim are the direct administrative cabinet of the
governor general, acting as chiefs of twelve groups of special angels
functioning as the immediate superhuman directors of planetary progress and
stability. Planet earth is at present still spiritually isolated since the
Lucifer’s rebellion, however, Michael’s Spirit of Truth has been continuously
pouring out upon all flesh for nineteen hundred years, since time of
Pentecost, and this should be counseling to the believing individual mortals. THE MASTER SERAPHIM OF PLANETARY SUPERVISION When the first governor general arrived on Urantia, after
Michael’s departure in the first century, concurrent with the beginning of
the outpouring of his Spirit of Truth, he was accompanied by twelve corps of
special seraphim, who were immediately assigned to certain special planetary
services. These twelve groups of master seraphim of planetary supervision
function under the general supervision of the resident governor general and
seraphic council of twelve, the acting chiefs of each group. These twelve
corps of master seraphim function as angels of epoch, progress, religion,
nation life, races, future, enlightenment, health, home institution, industry,
recreation and superhuman ministry. Master seraphim are insuring the planetary progress through the
mobilization, training and maintenance of the planetary reserve corps of
destiny. The chief function of these reservists is to insure against the
breakdown of evolutionary progress. THE RESERVE CORPS OF DESTINY The reserve corps of destiny consists of living men and women who
have been admitted to the special service of the superhuman administration of
world affairs. This corps is made up of the men and women of each generation who
are chosen by the spirit directors of the realm to assist in the conduct of
the ministry of mercy and wisdom to the children of time on the evolutionary
worlds. It is the general practice in the conduct of the ascension plans
to begin with the liaison utilization of mortal will of creature as soon as
they are competent and trustworthy to assume such responsibilities. As soon as such men and women appear on the temporal stage of
physical life with the sufficient mental capacity, adequate moral status and
required spirituality, they are quickly assigned to the appropriate celestial
group of planetary personalities as human liaisons, i.e. mortal assistants. When human beings are chosen as protectors of planetary destiny,
when they become pivotal individuals in the plans which the world
administrators are prosecuting, at that time the planetary chief of seraphim
confirms their temporal attachment to the seraphic corps and appoints
personal destiny guardians to serve with these mortal reservists. Mortals of the realm are chosen for service in the reserve corps
of destiny on the inhabited worlds because of: 1.
Special
capacity for being secretly rehearsed for numerous possible emergency
missions in the conduct of various activities of world affairs. 2.
Wholehearted
dedication to some special social, economic, political, spiritual, or other
cause, coupled with willingness to serve without human recognition and
rewards. 3.
Their
very actively involved Thought Adjuster, the spirit presence of God also
known as the fragment of I AM God’s presence. Each division of planetary celestial service has liaison corps of
these mortals of destiny and on Urantia these combined corps now consists of
twelve groups of over 1,000 mortals, ready to act in possible planetary
emergencies. In conclusion, on Urantia, there is operative a very definite and
effective superhuman government supervising planetary affairs and human
destinies in spite of spiritual isolation of this planet. Urantia is as lovingly cherished and faithfully watched over as
if had never been betrayed in its past by a faithless Planetary Prince and
defaulted in mission by Adam and Eve. It is eternally true that the Father himself loves every soul on
this world. |
