GOD’S RELATION TO THE UNIVERSE

In the previous Interim-Papers we have
reviewed the meanings of the TRUE WORSHIP of the Paradise Universal Father,
the PRAYER SUPPLICATIONS to the realms of the Paradise Eternal Son and His Spirit
of Truth, and qualified PRAYER REALIZATIONS by the spirit agencies of the
Holy Spirit, the Mind of the Paradise Conjoint Actor. The following Interim-Paper is
devoted to further enlightenment about the true nature of God. *** All too long has man thought
of God as one like himself. The character of God is
infinitely superhuman; therefore must such a nature of divinity be personalized, as in His
divine Sons such as the Michael Creator Sons of the local universes, before
it can be ever grasped by the faith driven finite mind of the evolutionary
planetary man. The Creator Son of the local
universe of Nebadon has originally intended for the man to be the masterpiece
of his planetary creation and the ruler of all the earth. Looking at the evolving man
now, the Christ Michael as the God’s Son and the God-Creator of this local
universe of Nebadon, sees this Urantia-man now bowing to idols of basic
sensual passions and material ego-centric selfishness. These sordid scenes of man’s
spiritual decline, always stir God the Father and His Creator Sons to long
for the attention of the spiritual man, being concerned about the man’s
spiritual maturity and his salvation (self-elevation) to the eternal “ The Creator of universe is
“jealous” for the attention of the “man of faith”, and not for faithless and
selfish ego-centric material mortal man. However, the eternal God is
incapable of wrath and anger against faithless, in the sense as the man
understands such reactions, because these sentiments are hardly worthy of
even being called human emotions, and much less to be considered as divine;
and such attitudes are utterly foreign to the perfect nature and gracious
character of the Universal (Uni-verse-real) Father. The most of the difficulties
that the Urantia’s planetary mortals have in understanding the God, are due
to far-reaching consequences, embedded in human solar personality
sub-consciousness, from Lucifer’s historic rebellion against his
Creator-father Christ Michael in our local system of Satania, which also
includes the betrayal of father Christ Michael by his other Lanonandek son,
the Urantia’s Planetary Prince Caligastia. On the worlds not segregated
by such sins, the evolutionary races are able to formulate far better ideas of the Universal
Father, because they suffer much less from their soul’s confusion,
distortion, and perversion of creative Father’s universe concepts, such as
the evolution of the planetary man being planned creature-aspect of God’s
universe creation. God is all-wise, all-powerful,
all-just and He repents of nothing He has ever done, is doing now, or He will
ever do in the future in His creation of the universe and its life. God’s wisdom consists in the
unqualified perfection of His absolute and infinite universe insight, and
this divine foreknowledge effectively directs His creative free will. On the other hand, man’s
wisdom grows out of the experiential trials, tribulations and errors of own
human planetary experience. The Universal Father never
does anything intentionally that causes subsequent sorrow or regret. It is the free-will of the
personalized creatures in the outlying universes, such as the evolutionary
men, whose unfortunate choosing occasions the genuine emotion of the divine
sorrow in the personalities of their Creative Parents. It is the Father, who neither
makes the mistakes, harbors regrets, nor causes or experiences sorrows, but
has affectionate heart for His universe children, who is grieved when His
children fail to attain the spiritual levels, that they are capable of
reaching, even with so freely provided assistance by the spiritual-attainment
plans and the mortal-ascension policies of the universes. The understanding of infinite
goodness of the Father is beyond the comprehension of the finite mind of the
evolutionary man of time and space, and hence the man must be therefore
always afforded a contrastive choice of comparative evil (evolutionary energy
veil) for the man to discern, by his five senses, the effective
exhibition of all phases of relative goodness as compared to divine. The divine goodness, as
non-time and non-space perfection phenomena of divine reality, may only be guessed by present
imperfection of mortal spiritual insights, because of man’s present total
perceptive-associative preoccupation with his worlds of evolving matter in
time and space, resulting in man’s
spiritual blindness, preventing him to see the abundance of the universe life
beyond man’s present limited “Hubble (telescope)” mind vision. Reference: The Urantia Book, Paper 4,
