In the Interim-Papers VIII and
IX we have reviewed the meanings of the TRUE WORSHIP of the the Mind of the The following Interim-Papers
will be devoted to enlightenment about the true nature of God.
*** THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD -
Part 3. GOD’S OMNISCIENCE The divine mind is conscious
of, and conversant with, the thought of all creation. God’s knowledge of events is
universal and perfect. “God knows all things.” “The eyes of the Lord are in
every place.” “He who balances the clouds,
is also perfect in knowledge.” “The very hairs of your head
are numbered.” “He tells the number of the
stars; He calls them all by their names.” The Universal Father is the
only personality in the entire universe who does actually know the number of
stars and planets of space. All the worlds of every universe are all the time
within the consciousness of God. “God knows our down sittings
and our uprisings; He understands our thoughts afar off and is acquainted
with all our ways.” God has said –“I have surely
seen the affliction of my people, I have heard their cry, and I know their sorrows.” It should be a real comfort to
every human being to understand that - “All things are naked and open
to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do” and that “He knows your frame; He knows
that you are dust.” God is never subjected to
surprise. He foreknows the freewill acts of His children, although His knowledge never abrogates
their freedom. Jesus had said about living
God:” Your Father knows what you have need of even before you ask Him.” God is possessed of unlimited
power to know all things; His consciousness is universal. Father’s personal circuit encompasses
all personalities, and His knowledge of even lowly creatures is supplemented
indirectly through the descending series of His divine Sons and directly through the creature
indwelling His I AM personality Thought Adjusters. Furthermore, with the infinity

4. GOD’S LIMITELESSNESS The successive bestowal of
Him-Self upon the universes as they are brought into being in no wise lessens
the potential of power or the store of wisdom as they continue to reside and
repose in the central personality of God. In potential of force, wisdom,
and love, the Father has never lessened aught of His possession nor become
divested of any attribute of His glorious personality as the result of the
unstinted bestowal of Himself upon the Paradise Sons, upon His subordinate
creations, and upon the manifold creatures thereof. The creation of every new
universe calls for a new adjustment of gravity, and the power of control and co-ordination
reposing in the Isle of the same degree of force and
energy and the Unqualified Absolute would still be undiminished; God would
still possess the same infinite potential, just as if force, energy, and
power had never been poured forth for the endowment of universe upon
universe. And so it is with God’s
wisdom: The fact that mind is so freely distributed to the thinking of the
realms, in no way impoverishes the central source of His divine wisdom
(Theo-Sophia). As the universes multiply, and
beings of realms increase in number to the limits of comprehension, if
universe mind continues without end to be bestowed upon these beings of high
and low estate, still God’s central personality will continue to embrace the
same eternal, infinite and all-wise mind. The fact that God sends forth
spirit Thought Monitors from Himself to indwell the men and women of the
planetary evolutionary worlds, such as Urantia, does not in any way lessens His
ability to function as a divine and all-powerful spirit personality. There is absolutely no limit
to the number or extent of His spirit Thought Adjusters which he can and may
send out. This giving of Himself to His creatures, creates a boundless, almost
inconceivable future possibility of progressive and successive existences for
the divinely endowed mortals. The prodigal distribution of Himself through
His ministering spirit entities in no way diminishes the wisdom and
perfection of truth and knowledge which repose in His person as the all-wise,
all-knowing and all-powerful Father. God inhabits eternity,
however, only infinity of mind can alone fully comprehend the infinity of His
existence and eternity of His actions. Mortal man cannot possibly
know the infinitude of the heavenly Father. Finite mind cannot think
through such an absolute truth or fact, but finite human being can actually
feel and experience the full, undiminished impact of infinite Father’s love. Father’s LOVE can be truly
experienced. Although the quality of His love is unlimited, the quantity of such an
experience is strictly limited by the human capacity for the spiritual
receptivity and by the human associated capacity to have faith in Father and
to love Him in return. Finite appreciation of
infinite qualities far transcends the logically limited capacities of the creature because of the
fact that mortal man is made in the image of God and that within mortal mind
dwells the spirit fragment of Father’s infinity. Therefore, for all the above
reasons, man’s nearest and dearest approach to God should be by and through the love and
faith in Him, for God is encircuited absolute Father-Mother love. Absolute God’s love between
His feminine and masculine aspects relative to His creatures is actually
experienced in cosmic sociology as the Creator-creature and
Father-Mother-child family affectionate relationships. Reference: The Urantia Book, Paper 3,
